Head, eyes and face
Helmets, safety glasses and face protection suited to the task’s risks.
Trained teams, protective equipment and documentation: a practical commitment to working in accordance with the laws and regulations at the project location.
METALMONT has the safety equipment required for the activities it performs and organises its work to comply with local laws and regulations. Equipment, procedures and operator requirements are considered in relation to the risks, tasks and conditions of each site.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is equipment worn or held by a person to protect against risks to health or safety at work. Selection depends on the risk to be controlled and the conditions of use; PPE does not replace risk assessment or collective protective measures.
The following categories describe examples of PPE. The actual equipment is determined for the activity and project location.
Helmets, safety glasses and face protection suited to the task’s risks.
Gloves, safety footwear and protective clothing selected for the tasks and environment.
Fall protection systems where required, with compatible components, appropriate training and procedures.
Specific protection where the risk assessment identifies exposure to noise, dust or other agents.
Clients, contracting parties and site managers may request relevant documentation before work starts. METALMONT can provide available documents applicable to the project for the equipment and personnel involved, respecting confidentiality and personal data protection.
Specify the country, site, planned tasks and documents required. Sasha and Adnan are your direct contacts for coordinating the request.
International projects require checking the host country’s and site’s requirements: equipment, operator qualifications, access and documentation may vary. Marking or a qualification obtained in one country does not automatically imply recognition in all others.
Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for PPE; Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008, particularly Articles 74–79 on PPE and Article 73 on training and equipment operator qualifications. For training, check current agreements, including the Italian State–Regions Agreement of 17 April 2025, and applicable transitional provisions.
